This is just a reminder note for me.
Take ownership (first)
takeown /r /f *
Reset Permissions using icacls (second)
icacls * /t /q /c /reset
Reset MBR and Boot Sector on NTFS, etc... (has nothing to do with perms and takeown
bootsect /nt60 c: /force /mbr
bcdboot c:\windows /s c:
... now I can thrown away these two sticky notes that I have had on my benches for 10 years....doh!!!
