The technology supply chain right now is under pressure from understock to overstock.
The move to stay at home has forced mobile and video technologies to surge in demand.
Desktop and Server and rack type technologies are on hold. The supply for them is stock piling and hopefully soon those prices will plummet in the quad core arena as well as the octa core arena.
Monitors continue to thrive in 32+ inch ranges, yet under 32 inches, like 24-27, those continue to stay highly priced and should not be.
Hard drive storage should be diving now but not yet.
Cable technologies are increasing with the start and stop of construction and building in various zones across the world. Some are back ordered, some are overstock.
The supply chain was in a kanban type of situation until the pandemic which caused only cargo transportation carriers to continue yet with lower business demand and delays in capital projects if not temporarily or permanently, then the technology supply chain will bulge in the middle for 2-3 years.
