In Linkedin, your connections can be good, bad or indifferent.

I suggest cleaning out all your connections and starting over if you have no real value with 500+ connections.

Remember, quality over quantity.

I just looked back at some of my old connections and nothing has changed with them in 3-5 years or more. No updates, no changes, just same ole same ole. For some, that might be fine, yet what projects are they working on? even if their excuse and answer is that it is confidential, I get it. What about your hobbies and other things that are not so private.

Well, I get it. Must be some social media policy at their work. Freedom of Speech versus consequences of using Freedom of Speech.

Close your account and reset it. Start over. A rewrite of your profile is a good thing. You will remember the finer details over time that will help you reconnect with those of current value, not the past.

Enjoy!
