In about 50 years or less or more (I like the less part more than the more part), we will have what is called continuous reinvention and patents, trademark and copyright will not be an issue.
We are just about 50 years away from that. The world and lawyers will no longer have a purpose for this. Hopefully the litigious nature of humans will go away.
Our society is one of laws for one reason - keep everyone in line and follow some resemblance of social order.
Can't wait for the cataclismic event where all inequalities are erased.
