OpenShot not working on Linux Mint for the moment - KDENLIVE

Is it just me, yet Open Shot [OpenShot] would not work after installation, removal, cleanup and re-installation on Linux Mint.
I am trying to edit my videos on Linux versus Windows and I though Open Shot would be the ticket. So far, no luck.
Time to switch to another platform until I figure it out.
I will try KDENLive -- and others..
