The latest 2700X build is amazing. Get the right board, cpu and ram, and fast hdd and you're good. the power supply is whatever, but you want one that has higher efficienty like 85% versus lower efficient power supplies.
I might just have to switch up 3700X builds to be 2700X builds, yet the CPU difference is just a little so it seems and the price as well. We'll see. Unless there is a special on 3700X we'll stick with the 2700X. The other makes and models are interesting to say the least.
