I love aptitude tests to help determine team member strengths, areas for improvement, and overall professional development if so desired.

With that being said, I sometimes wonder how good Linux users are versus Windows users in basic overall computing? From basic PC usage to systems administration, office applications and productivity.

Can it be that Linux users are more adept or not? Thoughts?  Windows makes things easy even when they introduced the mouse back in the early 1980s.

For me, I know that computing is just 1's and 0's. I have always said that. Logical versus illogical. 1+1 versus maybe.

So why are some people so keen to computing and some not so?

Could it be atmosphere and where and when they grew up? Could it be mechanical aptitude and reasoning?

I know some kids are so adept on their phone yet with it comes to math and logic, they suffer. Their parents think and believe they are geniuses when in fact they are just really familiar with a tool, called a cell phone.

When the time comes, I love to see basic aptitude tests that are not meant to harm or hurt your feelings yet let you explore your natural abilities so you know where you are strong and where you need improvement if you so desire.
