So I go to start a new blog post and WIX suggests in their placeholder of the title to 'Add an engaging title'.

 

Hmmmm.. that is an interesting suggestion.  I never thought of how right or wrong a title could be personally because I often title what I am writing about pretty clean cut and dry. The basic who, what, when, why, where and how is in the back of my mind as write - particularly why am I writing this, and to whom I am writing. That is the basic motivation.

 

The 'engaging title' could be that very important <h1> meta-tag SEO HTML goody or not.

 

It could also be used right or wrong for mere pleasure, like a deceiving YouTube video titled wrong just to get your attention and click.

 

Or the engaging title could be a bad media source that uses a catchy unethical byline to get readers and sell their wares (newspapers, pamphlets, flyers, what have you).
