data recovery and delete recovered folder when done -- cannot delete a file cannot find the file specified

If you have this 'cannot-delete-a-file-system-cannot-find-the-file-specified' after completing a data recovery on a Mac drive volume partition to an NTFS drive;
the solution I found after all other options was to run WinRar and add the problematic folder to the archive temp file even on the local same drive, check the option checkbox to delete files after archive, and then delete the created winrar .rar file. That actually worked for me.
Oddly enough the folder size reports as 2MB but the created winrar file ended up being over 25GB. Obviously something was in that folder and directory that was copied off to the client's transfer media, but could not be removed from my hard drive.
more to come...
