For those of you who love Belarc to help collect and capture PC system information, our clients who use this for their personal needs, reported they could not get the download anymore without an email address name and robot captcha.
Belarc just stopped allowing direct download and now via email sign-ups, which sort of sucks, but hey, that's the cost of utilizing their utility for home personal usage.
here is the direct download for now:
when you install the program, one can update to the latest signatures or not, and also it will scan your network and you can cancel that if you wish and skip to the results. The results are stored in the following location of your computer and the report is the name of your computer system in HTML file format extension.
report location - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Belarc\BelarcAdvisor\System\tmp"
filename will be your computer name in parentheses with an html extension.
for example. if your pc computer name is PC24 the filename will be (PC24).html
