NCET PacStates presentation on IT backwards and forwards

This is an interesting event upcoming at NCET regarding PacStates.

 

I can't agree with them more. I believe technology should not fail anyhow, and the people who know the most should be on the inside of the company, trained and competent to troubleshoot and resolve their own issues without massive overhead IT budgets and costs. The ole saying, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) after the purchase and sale should be close to zero, not a zero sum game.

 

Ransomware, Cybersecurity Protection, Business Continuity and other buzzwords and phrases exist because bad things occur and go bump in the night. It should not be the case, yet in a zero trust application environment we are forced to either unplug or rely on a vendor or two to help business be conducted.
