Dell Inspiron 5520 - 7 beeps problem video not working

one year ago, this Dell Inspiron 5520 laptop was working fine and then suddenly, 7 beeps on POST, and the video went gray. Was it the RAM, VRAM chip, or LCD? Based on troubleshooting, the RAM would be reseated and the board power drained and it would work for a month or so, but that was it.
Now that does not work as a solution workaround. DOA? Probably.
