In the past 50 years, innovation has moved along pretty quickly with the transistor, and prior to that, another 50 years with the airplane, and then another 100 years the steam engine, and a few thousand years, the concept of fire.
So where are we today? What drives innovation? Who keeps pace? How is it funded and managed?
All of these questions are philosophical in nature yet have real world challenges and opportunities.
Keep it simple stupid is my saying. We have to carefully manage and reorganize every resource as we go. It should be on a schedule like our daily exercise and eating schedule to keep up fit and healthy, alert, safe and secure, strong, agile and perceptive.
So with that, I leave you with what are you going to do today to help others with that very set of questions.
I've got my short and long list. do you? it is a moving target and while we love change we also love stability and predictability.
