in the last 60 days, we have finished testing which of the three video cards are best served for GIS and CAD systems.  Well, as expected, our tests from 2-3 years stand up. Over the last 2 years, 10 of the cad engineering systems we have designed and delivered had the 2000 and 4000 series.

The latest RTX 5000 Quadro went into a $7000 videography build with 40TB of video processing power that gets swallowed up in about 2 hours, temp processing across 4TB of m2 NMVe raw temp scratch space.

The Quadro 2000, 4000, 6000 series still manages to perform excellently.

make sure you source the cards properly. most will be back ordered and come direct from HP business, 2 week delay is all in some cases.

pricing is from $600 to $1800 to $3000... so enjoy the bench marking on your applications.

caveat: yes, we did try some Fire GL cards for 1/2 the price and the bench mark and performance was about 70% of the Quadro. When it comes to hands down performance, ask your software vendor if the onboard CPU or above board GPU is recognized by the software and where is the intensive tasks and work loads performed.

more to come...

FYI we use paypal or patreon, patreon has 3x the transaction fees, so we don't, not yet.
