after working on 3 security systems today, one can surmise that we need more work on overall security and two factor authentication, or even multi-factor authentication.
some of the great MFA and 2FA vendors have been breached as well, LastPass, on a legacy old system, and so we must look at retiring legacy applications and systems faster and getting them off the grid.
the take away, once a legacy system is done, just unplug it, leave it on and running just unplugged and air gapped.
