Team reorganizations, the hard part made easy

We just finished helping three companies with their reorganizations in the last few weeks, and in doing so, opportunities that existed vanished and new opportunities occurred. This all came about with the last round of fiscal budget reviews and corporate mission expansion and redirection to meet market needs.
While some of the team members were be able to make the adjustment and shift, others were not so lucky.
The sad part is that when one door closes and will open. I always look at the people and the organization and the most flexible resource are the people, yet sometimes, what you have in people don't line up with the new organization so you just have to explain and cut your losses.
Working with leadership and investors, and leveraging the value of the human resources department, we eventually get what we want rather quickly with more options than limitations.
