While beefing up on Block Chain for the
Nevada Technology Association, I had to jump into the federal and state regulations on information security which took me down this rabbit hole of GIAC, SC 800-53, FIPS 200, FIPS 199, Bond & Associates.
The FIPS 199 reading is rather interesting, circa 2004, the C.I.A. of the classification understanding as Confidentiality, Integrity, and Accessibility in terms of low, medium, high which crosses over to limited, serious and severe (catastrophic).
