If you are in need of a Microsoft Office product, the subscription plan versus the one time full purchase continues to remain an argument for some.
the online Office 365 has become very affordable for the home, 5 license for like $8/month, that's $96/year, so that is fair. Anything above home needs to be more competitive.
The retail pricing for the 2013 2016 2019 professional, professional plus, enterprise continues to remain highly priced. If you are building a new computer, the one time purchase of OEM for new builds is the way to go. You can get very good deals.
