I was just reading an RFP dated 2018 and compared that to a mission statement and budget for the same organization for the same era, and oddly enough, they sort of did not match up.

Yet, the RFP was a good one, and the budget was even cooler, and the mission and annual report was pretty cool too. The best part of all of this is that it was not accessible via their organizations website directly. One had to do a lot of google search / actually duckduckgo queries to find what one needed.

The best part of an RFP is when it so closely matches other RFPs from other similar organizations by industry from across the country. I just hope the RFP is done with simplicity to get what one needs without costing an arm and a leg, and end up being a dead end project or investment of resources.

I can't wait to learn more about some more industry RFPs that are similar and eye opening.
