You know its funny, for $6 you can fix what would normally cost $90-150 in repairs for your home swamp cooler and water hoses.
$4 for a 5/8" water hose repair kit, second time I need one for the same hose.
$2 for a 1/4" copper coupling kit to replace the ends on your swamp cooler water line that has cracks through it all..
Ps. I have two water hoses that are 75' long and over 13 years old. why replace them when one can repair them. regarding the swamp cooler, the water feed line is plastic 1/4" and about 25' long, and the shortest water line replacement is 50' long and the ends were pretty corroded, not replaced in over a decade.. working just fine..
i just love home depot and lowes.. i get the swamp cooler pine pads 24" x 30" at Lowes near Sparks Marina, and the replacement parts at Home Depot in Northtowne.
heck my gas to go to both places probably was as much as $3 and the purchase items were $6... a savings of water hoses and replacement kits versus just the parts and pieces, and two or three tools and 1 hour of personal time...
more to come...
