Linux Distributions and what others are saying

In the past few months and most recently this weekend, a few professional bloggers and writers have taken up their pen and paper to write about their experiences with various flavors of Linux.
My response: it's about time.
But we already knew the outcome and we already knew the facts.
So why the hype and fuss? Because writers and bloggers have run out of others things to say and do, or are they just trying to stay relevant where their MacBook Pro would not go.
I wonder if they even know which version of Linux runs their MacBook subsystem? Probably not.
my favorite continues to be Linux Mint and now the latest Peppermint 10, and of course, Elementary. For a while it was Ubuntu Studio.
