It is a Sunday morning, I am 6 blocks from home, and this truck and trailer, with a big delivery load is stuck in the Circus Circus parking lot, right next to St. Mary's. Well, a driver by himself with a 5th wheel trailer and tractor cannot get his trailer out of the parking lot, that was once empty the night before is now all packed up and cars and trailers around him.
well, do you keep walking or stop and notice and help out.. i chose the latter.
it took over an hour, and boy oh boy were we both happy to have him unstuck from the parking lot.
him, from El Paso, Texas, and another guy, a bus driver who was also sort of stuck, well, can't remember their names other than Abraham from El Paso, and Jessie from San Diego. Jessie was able to help as a 2nd corner guide.
we did it. once I walked home, 2 hours later, my wife said "nice walk", and of course, I had to explain it to her.. not sure she understood, but hey, at least she said its always good to help people. it's a blessing she said.
now can I get a cup of coffee and enjoy the rest of my morning? please, thank you Lord.
more to come...
