so, i am again doing another build with an AMD FX-8350 and its still pretty slick. the board i got to go with it was a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P.

One thing, the motherboard northgate heatsink is pretty hot, can barely touch it without getting a little singe. So i checked out the blogs on why this northgate heat sink gets so hot, and the answer is - it just does. at least the heat is flowing, right?

so far so good. the Samsung EVO 860 500GB is nice too! along with my pair of GSkill F3-1600C9D-16GXM.

The cooler is a Wraith that came with the CPU. steady at 27-30 C when idle.

windows 10 pro 64 bit is fine... anything else... oh yes, in my DIYPC Green Computer Case... very nicely done...
