anyone who is a database junkie like me, the SQL Server 2019 CTP3.2 Preview is out, and the SQL Server Management Studio 18x (18.2) is out.

so you need to go ahead and do the upgrade from 2014 or 2017 SQL Server (developer or community) editions, and enjoy!!

I am looking for better performance on 1.8TB of SQL server databases that I use to crush and crunch 180 million domain records and data sets.

FYI - my preview testing for my ProjectSearch43 C# and SQL domain processing (see previous posts) and yes, the dataset processing as almost 40% faster. 2019 is definitely doing something that 2017 was not doing.
