Libre Office, international language packs for help installed too, why

in Peppermint OS 9, just installed the Libre Calc (LibreOffice) component to do some testing.
The rest of Libre Office installed and that's fine, but and I scrolled through other things installed and why did the help language packs for Italian, Portuguese, Russian, French, Spanish, Brazilian, German, UK English, and Chinese and a few others were installed. Why the extra languages? I'm English, in America and I don't plan on using those other languages.
just odd and weird. I removed each and recovered 28MB of disk space per....
