Visual Studio 2019 installation methods

After one week, the 2019 installation of Microsoft Visual Studio is going good.
Best suggestion on installation methodology.
1. launch Visual Studio 2017 installer
2. uninstall Visual Studio 2017
3. download Visual Studio 2019 installer
4. install Visual Studio 2019
5. specify your choice of development platforms; mine was 3 choices totaling 19GB
note, at the end of step #2, i looked around on one of my development machines and found two more 2017 visual studio components (named as such) that were not removed, so I removed them.
caveat, make sure you backup your source code, and make sure you have your login credentials for Microsoft. I was lucky enough to where i did not have to re-enter my credentials nor change my source code path because all my repos are in a specific folder off the root of my computer that are backed up and don't have visual studio paths in their structure.
