Flashing Screen, wont boot, cause UEFI was disabled in Samsung Series 7 Notebook NP700Z5B

if you are in the mood to deal with a dead Samsung Series 7 laptop, well, the 7GB flash boot and the HDD/SSD won't boot because of a flashing screen, well, that's because the BIOS UEFI is disabled and can't get past the boot internal drive to the actual boot drive. It's a hybrid thing we guess.
So, go into the BIOS, enable UEFI, change boot order anyhow. voila!
we had a BIOS 10FD -> to 15FD update and previously we noted the issue but the BIOS update reset the UEFI to disabled.
enjoy. oh. the Samsung is a great laptop, just has some quirks about it. it's an i7 and pretty slick.
