Over the last 15 days, been watching the AMD Ryzen 2700X pricing to see if we can get a deal, and low and behold, it happened, but not the 50th Gold Edition, but the straight up standard release!
Bottom dollar? $239. Did I get it, nope, not yet. the i7-8700K versus the 2700X (should be 2700Z - sounds cooler), would be really nice to have it I had an existing AM4 board and matching 2400 or 3200 DDR4 RAM with water cooling, but I don't yet, so I'll have to wait and live with my i7 920. It works. !!
Plus, I now have my Linux Mint on that
Dell Studio XPS i7 920 with 12 GB RAM and 500GB WD 7200, and my main alienware aurora is still at 12GB RAM and 500GB SSD EVO 860, so I'll live with these two for now, and yes, one has the 1050Ti while the other is just a standard R7 video.
