so the time has finally come to dedicate one of my i7 systems to a Linux Distro. For 3 years I have been on an Oracle Virtual Box journey and finally had to take a bite out of my dedicated systems for testing to get serious about administering and programming on Linux....
drum roll please.....which flavor?
LINUX MINT -- Cinnamon 19.1 64..... yup.... had to do it....
Why not MATE or XFCE? well, like most of us, had to go with the first choice in downloads.
Let's wait and see why my next series of blog topics and subjects will be.
Oh yeah... added
Lazarus and
Spyder3 to my arsenal on that. ps. the Lazarus is a little tricky. and Spyder3 is easy. just apt install that one 'spyder3' , and lazarus, just do the
sourceforge distros installation in reverse order.. otherwise you have all sorts of dependency issues --- other things will come...
