In our efforts to better understand Virtual Box 6.0 enhancements, we are in the midst of trying to get Peppermint OS 9 with Office 2016 Professional Plus to run very fast under Codeweavers Crossover 18 or 18.5.
we see significant delays in the menus and typing in Word for Windows 2016 Professional Plus, yet we are unsure if it is Virtual Box's fault or not? we just need to continue testing. odd and true.
We believe 5.26 is hardened and streamlined and optimized, and Crossover 18 is solid and 18.5 support Windows 10 bottles to support Office 2019 Professional plus inherently versus Office 365 subscription only.
We are trying to find the performance bottleneck. If anyone has any ideas, let us know.
