Hyper Convergence Infrastructure (HCI) is a new buzzword that requires a simple explanation.
all your workers remote to your virtual work center and office center in the cloud for all your computing needs. from the desktop, data storage, application platforms, backups, data processing, reporting, and research. all of that needs to be in the virtual cloud. the only hardware is the person at their home or remote office or on the road having medium size network pipe (10mb up, 10mb down).. that's it..
your 2FA security card is used to get you from where you are to the virtual work office...
