On March 27, 2019, I had the opportunity to visit the CI 2019 Day at University of Nevada. In coordination with private-public partnerships in terms of cybersecurity, IT, application development and research, this was an interesting all day event.

Subject: CI Day 2019 is this Wednesday, 3/27 - we will see you there!

Thank you for registering for CI Day 2019!

CI Day is this Wednesday, March 27th, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. inside Ballrooms B and C of the Joe Crowley Student Union (JCSU). There are three sessions available – you can come for the whole day or whichever sessions best fit your busy schedule. Please check in at the registration desk upon arrival.

To review the program for the day, please visit the Cyberinfrastructure Day 2019 website.

Juniper Networks will be providing free coffee and refreshments throughout the day, and Dell EMC will generously be providing a taco-bar lunch. OIT Technology providers will be holding informational tables throughout the lunch hour. Although we have closed registration, feel free to encourage a colleague to drop in as well.

We look forward to seeing you at CI Day 2019 so you can have your voice heard by University leadership as we move into the exciting and challenging realm of R1 research activity. This event is about participation and joining in the conversation about research technology support at the University – we need your input now and in the future in order to make the right impact!
