I was looking at my SSD performance and looking up my defrag scheduler and it was last run 4 days ago. whether or not it actually start, defragged my ssd drive and finished is hard to tell.

So i went into my task scheduler under Windows | Defrag and found the task and disabled it.

I read up on this link https://www.pcgamer.com/should-i-defrag-my-ssd/ and I was a little confused for a second and then realized I need to double check my system now that I have a better understanding of why de-fragmentation of an SSD drive is not recommended.

February 5, 2019 update: I submitted my question to SlashDot.org and they did not pickup the submission, yet.
