PC Keyboards - the best, worst, in between

I spent the better part of the last year looking at cool PC keyboards, replacing mine and looking for others that might work for a while. Some of my friends and colleagues have some amazing keyboards, yet for me, just the plain jane keyboard works; but I want to up my game a little, so I went on a search today and came across two that were locally available at Best Buy.
Spectre X series
Steel Series
while the price for each was between $50 and $120, I deferred back to my Internet search. i did not want buyers remorse. I wanted something cool, tactile, colorful and new.
