I am looking at the option to put a two factor authenticate (2FA) wrapper around a virtual box VDI / session / image somehow... to my colleague on the road who needs a possible solution yesterday, not tomorrow.

Hi .....,

As far as two factor authentication (2FA) on everything requirement, Oracle Virtual Box does not have it at this time.

I investigated yesterday and the only level of protection and security is the encryption it allows just like our current methods during installation of any OS supporting block level and drive level encryption.

That leaves physical control of the disk image (virtual image) on a storage device (hard drive in a laptop or a PC) as a last resort.

Stay warm. It’s cold in Chicago!!
