Cool -- Just keeping you posted.
On one case, right now -- had to use a windows restore point to 1/7/2019 because the 3AM 1/9/2019 update is where things went wrong.
Affecting small / medium / large local networks with windows 7 connecting to file shares, shared printing, quickbooks, peachtree, sage, etc..

The issue is triggered only if the user attempting to make the connection is an administrator on the machine that hosts the Share. If the user is "just" a user on the device that hosts the share, the connection should be fine.

Importance: High
be advised, do not reboot Windows 7 workstations at this time. The control panel windows updates should be set to Manual / Notify Me Do Not Download instead ofInstall Automatically.
Those who are PC savvy will know what to do and those that don’t will need help if they suddenly lose connectivity to the server shares.
I need to make sure the computers do not lose connectivity to server shares
