With the fiasco that Facebook faces, one is not surprised. It's like the Pet Rock or Beanie Babies on steroids times 1,000,000 equivalent to "FaceBook = Internet Opioids".

So what do people do? Remember geocities, where everyone had their name as part of some ~tilda and their group, individual, company name. Maybe we are going to go back to that. Some of those still exist today, some version of my pages etc. Facebook had a good run until some congressman's child got caught up in the web of problems and came on to the governments of the worlds radar and then found to be very gracious with a lack of our privacy.

So what, we obviously checked some box at signup that said they can do that, even if it was against any law or better judgement of some child protection policy, act, or treaty.

Mark Zuckerberg is fully responsible as he commented to US Congress. He'll be fine, and rest of his laurels for the rest of his life. So what, white collar crime is not really a crime, right Mark?

We Should Replace Facebook With Personal Websites

OK who wants to make my Mom a personal website so I don't have to?
