I had the opportunity to return my main two development workstations from Corsair Vengeance 64GB of DDR4 3000 and 3600 to 128GB, 4 x 32GB and they both worked perfectly.
 
Ugh, one week later, the MSI X570 board with DDR4 3000 started having instability issues. Checked BIOS, etc, and nada. Had to return the DDR4 2x32GB 3000 back to NewEgg. Ugh.
