My AMD 3950X research system I decided to rebuild on another motherboard and faster memory. It took me a few days to get the configuration rebuilt and replaced the way I wanted, yet it rocks!
Now I have to decide which heavy lifting research I need to move over to that from my AMD 5950X development system so I can let that 3950X just run and run the research that needs to get done.
I had a look back at the 3950X performance benchmark from Puget Systems; a few of my clients have systems built by this systems builder for the high end 2K and 4K professional video rending and editing.
