Linux Mint Mate 64 bit small project on Memorial Day Weekend

I spent the better half of Saturday resurrecting two old laptops.
1. a HP G71-340US and installed Windows 10 Home on it. After about 2 hours of setup and configuration, I opted to Belarc the info and activation validation, and then installed Linux Mint 21 Mate.
2. an HP dv5-1251nr was blanked and reloaded with Windows 10 Pro and activated. Amazing! It still works. Battery is dead yet I found a AC adapter that worked for it.
At first I thought both laptops were dead since they had been on my shelf among 4 other laptops and I was saving them just in case a client needed an LCD screen. Oddly enough, I could not get 2 of the 4 to operate, yet the 2 from above actually woke up after 1 hour of BIOS and Firmware reset.
I replaced the G71 hard drive with a 120GB SSD and flipped that into Linux Mint v21 Mate and working on that now.
