Working on some new SQL database architecture white papers; I came across Devart Software (Slovakian based) company and in turn CodingSight website. Pretty cool. Remembers me of the Worldwide SQL Users group from the early 2000s.

My take away was the angle of purpose in OLAP versus OLTP and the hybrid of the combination of both.

Funny, some database folks are purists whereas some others are professionals. We can have both without tainting the water and the team, can't we? haha! Anyhow. Please enjoy the links below. I did.
