Microsoft Windows TPM has malfunctioned error 80090034 encryption failed

I had a few computers on Windows 10 trying to get to Office 365 outlook online email.
The shortcut that I ended up using was this: https://outlook.office.com/mail/
Yet, when I went to login with a valid O365 work account, i go the following error message, and below this screen shot is the solution that worked for me. It was a registry edit.
Go into Registry Editor, Windows Logo + R for Start | Run, and type 'regedit' and click OK button.
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\Protect\Providers\df9d8cd0-1501-11d1-8c7a-00c04fc297eb
Add a new 32 bit DWORD key called "ProtectionPolicy" and set it the value to 1, restart computer.
