For those in the know, SQL programming has been a staple for nearly 40-50 years. While there have been many advances for no SQL substitutes for information systems, SQL still holds the leadership reigns when it comes to data processing; however Excel still holds the reigns for data analysis unless you consider Tableau as well.

Here are some resources that will help you along your way.

1.  SQL Server Developer / Community Edition - download page
2.  SQL Server Management Studio - download page
3. MS SQL Tips - link to main page
4. W3Schools of SQL - link to main page
5. Microsoft Visual Studio VB, C# for SQL I/O - download page
6. Worldwide SQL Server Group - the old group (circa 1995-2002), and the new reference (2004-2022)
7. Microsoft SQL online references - link to main page
8. ChartFX by SoftwareFX - link to product landing page

The developer editions have the same power as the enterprise except one must follow the license.
