I have spent the last 48 hours enjoying some DIY home projects all the while dealing with the Russia Ukraine War wide spread impacts across the planet.
What do you do? Well, I for one, know that politics is beyond my scope, yet not beyond my influence.
What do you do? Again, this is not a short term tactical issue, yet the ongoing strategic issues have been ongoing since 1993; especially since we have had the globalization of the supply chain and the access to the Internet.
What can we do? I always say - watch, listen, plan, make decisions, take steps, and plan appropriately for any and all actions, activities, both offensive and defensive. This is at the local level.
What does this mean at the global level? It depends. Most folks in power and leadership have their own agendas and one must hope they are even keeled. For me, walk quietly, carry big stick. And above all, don't show your cards and bring in allies quietly when necessary to help even in advance and in the midst of challenges. Keep your aces in your back pocket and don't show them, and only do so when the time is right.
