PC Parts in limited supply causing unexpected order voids and cancellations

I have been placing PC part orders for builds and in the past 72 hours, the legitimate orders have been unexpectedly cancelled and voided by suppliers due to limited supply and inaccurate inventory levels management.
They might limit your order quantity, yet if you order what you need, credit card is processed and then a day later, its voided and cancelled saying limited supply. What? Wow.
