*** 8am update *** yes, yes, yes, i do have an AMD 5950X build coming out too replace my 3950X build for a client running heavy jobs; and yes, yes, yes, the i9-9900K build done a few years ago is doing a two-peat on the build configuration with an updated Intel processor. now back to the post ... *** end of update ***
The motherboards: MSI mostly
The power supply: Gigabyte
The graphics: AMD onboard
The case: TBD DIY (atx, micro-atx, mini-atx)
The memory: Corsair 32GB (1 stick)
The hard drive: Samsung m.2 2280 NVMe 1TB
Parts finally came down in pricing about 30-40%. Close enough to warrant purchasing for designated client builds.
