Video card pricing still too high

This morning I took a look at video cards again, since my last two purchases were in late 2019 and early 2020, and wow, the prices are staggering.
my XFX RX 580 for my build was $179 and now is over $950
an XFX 5600 XT for a build was $449 and now is over $1800
amazing #newegg pricing... its going to take a few years to get back to discrete GPU purchases at this rate.
even when I shop around, its still the same everywhere. makes you wonder why crypto is weak right now when the GPUs are in such demand.
