AMD 3950X vs 5950X - Zen2 vs Zen3 - time for an upgrade

I took a gander at the AMD 5950X versus my current 3950X and decided to sit tight. the pricing was fair yet the benefits were not.
Though the Zen2 is not as good as Zen3, just 20% bump in overall performance is nice, yet not great. If it were like 50% I would have considered it.
