Its that time of year, since end of year planning includes one-on-one's with clients and suppliers, and going through the myriad of changes.
1. financial licensing is going back to normal pricing; some had COVID event licensing discounts since retail activity dropoff was up to 90% if not more for some transaction processing accounting licenses
2. software licensing for desktop, pc, server, and the like are subject to review, upgrade, migrate, downgrade and audit for end of year and savings
3. equipment recycling is now more prevalent since post COVID allows massive pickups and deliveries again
if you are doing licensing upgrades, migrations, and downgrades, be sure to look at ways to do mass changes via vendor support. instead of doing one at a time, sometimes the vendor can do a mass change on the backend alot faster. they want to keep you as a customer even if downgrade, migrate or upgrade is in your schedule and plan.
