I just finished three months testing of Amazon WorkSpaces and actually love it.

A decade ago, we had this small NUC embedded devices that just needed a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and internet connection and would boot to the remote desktop cloud server (MSTSC on steroids) type of solution.
